Dear Members,

As we reflect on this season of giving, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible generosity and compassion shown by our lodge members. This year, we adopted three families with children in need, and thanks to your kindness, we were able to make this Christmas unforgettable for them.

Your donations—whether in the form of gifts or monetary contributions—have truly made a difference. I can confidently say that every family was deeply cared for, and their holiday will be one of their happiest. Thanks to you, we provided not only toys, clothes, craft supplies, and fishing equipment, but also gift cards to help with Christmas dinners.

Thank you all for making this holiday season so special for those in our community. Your generosity continues to inspire and uplift, and I’m deeply grateful for each of you.

Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a very Merry Christmas.

With gratitude,

Mary Merrihew

I’d also like to share a touching story about a young girl named Paisley. Her grandmother is a lodge member, and when she learned about the children in need, she chose to use her own “donate” money to contribute. When Paisley and her family arrived with their gifts, many of us were moved to tears. Her selflessness and generosity were a beautiful reminder of what it means to be both a good person and a true Elk.
